Description

The Management Accountant role is initially a 6 month contract which could be extended and will be based in Openshaw Manchester. Reporting to the Financial Controller Key responsibilities will include:

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Review the internal controls as part of month end making recommendations of areas we can improve
• Contribute to annual budgeting and strategic planning process
• Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost reductions
• Manage financial reporting systems to ensure accurate data
• Collaborate with the finance team and other departments
• Participate in external audits
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Support the management team in decision-making

Profile

In order to apply for the role you should:

• Be ACCA/CIMA Part qualified/finalist/qualified by experience
• Have experience in Preparing for an Audit
• Have experience in balance sheet reconciliation
• Have experience in reviewing controls
• Be available for a temporary contract initially
• Be able to commute to Openshaw office
