Management Accountant - CMA Recruitment Group : Job Details

CMA Recruitment Group is currently exclusively supporting a rapidly expanding property group with a portfolio valued at over £300m. Based at the company’s Fareham head office, this interim Management Accountant role is responsible for the production of month end management accounts and assisting in production of the monthly reports.Our client is highly acquisitive, so more growth is planned as well as having a brilliant track record of progressing from within and offering the platform to develop.What will the Management Accountant role involve?

• Prepare monthly management packs, including balance sheet reconciliations, cashflows, and detailed analysis.
• Investigate significant variances within management accounts, enhancing reports to meet funders' requirements.
• Handle quarterly VAT/CIS returns, responding to any HMRC queries or investigations.
• Identify and provide solutions of inefficiencies in the transactional team and assist with their development.

Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy:

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to influence, develop and maintain positive relationships.
• Ability to problem solve as part of a team and independently.
• Previous experience working with multiple entities is desirable but not essential.
