Business Controller / Management AccountantLocation: Broughton (Minimum 80% onsite)Contract Type: Temporary - 12 MonthsPay Rate: Up to £39.98 per hour (Umbrella) / Up to £30.22 per hour (PAYE)IR35 Status: Inside IR35

Role OverviewThis is a valuable opportunity for a skilled Business Controller / Management Accountant to join a well-established organisation. The role focuses on ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial information while working on both recurring tasks and project-based initiatives to improve and streamline processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes across business units.
• Collaborate with operational managers to propose improvement projects, validate financial data, and support decision-making.
• Provide timely and insightful financial reporting, ensuring visibility of performance and early risk identification.
• Challenge operational performance and recommend financial improvement measures.
• Assess business cases for operational investments and improvement projects.
• Manage financial controlling activities, including Recurring Costs, Inventory, Non-Recurring Costs, and Capex Jigs / Tools.

Skills and Experience

• CIMA qualified with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in a manufacturing or commercial environment.
• Proficiency in SAP or equivalent financial reporting tools.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
• A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Working Pattern and Travel

• Standard 35-hour workweek
• Occasional UK travel may be required.
