Management Accountant - Axon Moore Group Ltd : Job Details

THE COMPANY:This business is a dynamic, high growth tech business. They are a successful market leader with Head Offices based in East Leeds They are now looking to recruit a Management Accountant with experience and passion, to join their growing finance team.You would be joining a business with a brilliant working environment and culture, which truly values its employees.Your key responsibilities will include supporting a small team, orchestrating a seamless month end, monhtly analysis and reporting, and contributing to enhancements in reporting frameworks, systems, and controls.THE JOB:

• Providing the monthly management accounts
• Accruals, prepayments and P & L analysis
• Supporting and overseeing a small team
• Providing cashflow forecasts
• Review all balance sheet accounts and prepare monthly reconciliations
• Manage intercompany recharges and balances
• Managing payroll processing
• Leading month end processes including journals, accruals, prepayments and fixed assets
• Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns
• Maintain the daily cashflows
• Support the Financial Controller and Finance Manager with ad hoc projects

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS /SKILLS:

• Part qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA)
• Experience within Management Accountants
• Managed a team or interested in managing a team
• Must have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong technical, analytic, and reporting skills
• Excellent IT skills (advanced knowledge of Excel essential)
• Accurate and attention to detail
• Able to meet deadlines
• Technically strong
• Inquisitive and a finisher

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

• £35,000 - £40,000
