Management Accountant - Marks Sattin : Job Details

Management Accountant | Lancashire | Up to £45k | 6-12 month contractMarks Sattin are seeking an ambitious and motivated team player to join the Senior Accounting team. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate and comprehensive monthly management accounts. Your meticulous attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis will be essential.Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Accurately and promptly prepare and post journal entries.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations for designated areas.
• Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in the audit process by preparing necessary documentation and backup.
• Support the preparation of year-end statutory accounts.
• Maintain and enhance robust processes and controls in line with Group requirements.

About you

• Part qualified or fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
• Relevant experience in management accounting or a similar role.
• Proven track record in preparing monthly management accounts, financial statements, and reports.
• Experience with financial audits and statutory account preparation.
