Management Accountant - Grafton Banks Limited : Job Details

Grafton Banks Finance is currently recruiting an experienced Management Accountant for a client based near Eastbourne, East Sussex. Our client is looking for a part-qualified professional (either qualified by experience or currently pursuing ACCA/CIMA studies) to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this role involves a broad range of responsibilities and will require full-time office attendance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and cash flow reports for the East Sussex office, along with several subsidiaries within the group.
• Management of the purchase ledger, including approving payments and performing reconciliations.
• Supporting the month-end close process.
• Overseeing fixed asset management.
• Allocating revenue and expenses across the group.
• Reconciliation of intercompany transactions.
• Providing ad-hoc financial support across the finance department and the wider group.

Essential Requirements:

• Ability to start with a one-month notice period (or sooner).
• Proven experience in a Management Accountant role.
• Commutable to the office on a daily basis (please note, this is an office-based role with no hybrid working options).
• Desired skills include proficiency in Excel and financial systems, with the confidence to work independently while also supporting the broader team as required.
