If you're looking for a position where your skills will make a tangible difference, keep reading.The Role: As a Management Accountant, you will oversee key financial operations, providing valuable insights to support decision-making. From preparing management accounts to ensuring compliance with financial regulations, this role offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled professional.What You'll Be Doing:* Producing financial statements, including departmental profit and loss accounts and monthly management accounts.* Reviewing calculations and reconciliations for accruals and prepayments.* Managing VAT, Landfill Tax, and Aggregate Levy returns, including reconciliation, submission, and payment.* Handling daily bank reconciliations and fixed asset register preparation.* Arranging hire purchase agreements and overseeing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany accounts.* Assisting in the preparation of statutory accounts and supporting audit schedules.* Maintaining compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.About You: We're looking for a self-driven, detail-oriented individual who can juggle multiple priorities with ease.
