Job Title: Management Accountant Salary: Up to £42,000 + BenefitsLocation: Newhaven  Are you a detail-oriented and reliable finance professional seeking an opportunity to make a meaningful impact? JGA are looking for an Management Accountant to join a dynamic team and play a pivotal role in supporting the financial health of the operations.Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate monthly financial management reports.
• Ensure compliance with internal and statutory deadlines.
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Fixed Asset Register maintenance and depreciation calculations
• Prepayments, accruals, and revenue/expense allocations.
• Various account reconciliations and intercompany transactions
• Oversee purchase ledgers for overseas subsidiaries, ensuring accurate processing and timely payments.
• Manage sales ledger cash posting and resolve queries promptly.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns, liaising with German accountants as needed.
• Assist with annual audits, internal audit procedures, and HMRC inspections.

What We’re Looking ForEssential Criteria:

• Formal accounting qualification (minimum AAT or part-qualified).
• Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel, with excellent analytical ability.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
