Management Accountant - Reed : Job Details

Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a business in East Leeds who are recruiting a Management Accountant to join their team. You will work closely with the Finance Director and Senior Finance Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business with a significant growth trajectory.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare management information
• Payment of payroll taxes ensuring balances reconcile to control accounts
• Prepare key monthly balance sheet reconciliations including accruals,prepayments, accrued/deferred income and holiday pay accrual
• Prepare and assist in cost analysis
• Oversight of bank reconciliations
• Ensure controls and processes are followed including preparation of weekly KPI reports
• Prepare quarterly VAT returns
• Calculate holiday pay accrual each pay period

You will need to demonstrate:

• ACA/CIMA/ACCA trainee (preferably part-qualified)
• Able to demonstrate strong progression in their career to date
• Demonstrate a strong technical competency in financial accounting and reporting
• Driven, hardworking and a team player
