My client, based in Northampton, is a leading provider of intelligent logistics services, they design, manage and optimise supply chains. They are searching for a motivated Management Accountant to join their finance team.

As a Management Accountant, you will play a critical role in supporting the financial operations of the business. You will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and providing valuable insights to inform strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Monitor and control budgets, ensuring accurate financial forecasting and reporting.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyse financial data.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support the implementation of financial controls and procedures.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Qualified or actively studying ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
• Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
