Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a growing Business in Leeds who are recruiting a Management Accountant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the Finance Director with ad-hoc financial duties and ensure all financial records are accurate.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions and prepare monthly trial balances for sales, purchases, and cashbook ledgers.
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns.
- Manage the entire purchase ledger.
- Reconcile the balance sheet.
- Support twice-daily payment runs, including submitting daybook data to the funder's portal.
- Reconcile the funder's ledger with the internal ledger monthly.
- Assist the FD in producing daily cashflow forecasts for Trade and Trust accounts.
- Provide information for quarterly audits with funders.
- Produce weekly income sweeps.
- Handle staff expenses and credit card reconciliations.
- Serve as a backup for the finance team in allocating clients' cash.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as needed.
You will need to demonstrate:
- Minimum AAT qualified or studying towards
- Proficient in Sageline 50
- Organisational and problem-solving skills
- A ‘can do’ attitude with a keen eye for detail
- Hands on approach to duties
