Management Accountant Rotherham, South YorkshireA fantastic opportunity has become available for a Management Accountant to join a finance team at a growing business based in Rotherham.Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role involves delivering accurate financial reporting and analysis on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting business growth through insightful financial data and process improvements.Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process monthly journals, including accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, covering stock, debtors, creditors, and bank accounts
• Generate monthly management accounts, comparing actual figures against budget and previous years
• Produce weekly performance reports and key financial indicators for various business divisions
• Analyse financial data to support strategic decision-making
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
• Conduct cost analysis to identify efficiency improvements and savings opportunities
• Support accounts receivable and accounts payable functions as needed
• Drive process improvements and enhance internal controls to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Assist with audit preparations and coordinate responses to audit queries across the group

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience in management accounting, with a strong analytical mindset
• Ability to interpret financial data and identify key trends
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modelling
• Experience with Sage 200 is beneficial but not essential
