Management Accountant – Goole – Up to £45,000Chase & Holland are thrilled to be supporting a successful, privately owned retail business in the Goole area who are currently seeking a driven and experienced Management Accountant to join their Finance team.This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company, working collaboratively within the finance team and wider business. With strong technical skills, you’ll work on delivering accurate and timely financial reporting which will support across many business-critical processes.Benefits:

Management Accountant Responsibilities:

• Producing the weekly and monthly accounts and providing commentary and variance analysis
• Conducting detailed reconciliations across systems, working with high volumes of data
• Preparing and summarising financial data for non-finance managers within the business
• Advising non-finance departments to ensure they understand the reporting and data given
• Understanding the transactional data which makes up the accounts
• Supporting with the year-end process and annual audit responsibilities
• Assisting in the customer due diligence preparation and reviews
• Working with the Financial Controller and wider team to support with process and system development initiatives
• Carrying out treasury tasks as required
• Mentoring junior members of the team
• Supporting in business-critical projects

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience within a similar role
• Full or part qualified in ACA, ACCA or CIMA desirable
• Strong management accounting experience with high attention to detail
• Ability to deal with high volumes of data
