Management Accountant - Marks Sattin : Job Details

A luxury Retailer are looking for a Management Accountant to join their finance team.

Reporting into the Head of Finance, this is a great opportunity for a finalist ACCA/CIMA studier to take the next step in their finance career.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the budgeting process, including challenging managers on unusual or high costs, proposing cost-saving measures, and consolidating global figures for presentation to the CFO and CEO.
• Prepare and consolidate the monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Present and review departmental costs on a monthly basis, challenging budget holders, identifying potential savings, and proposing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with local finance teams to review and analyze monthly P&L statements.
• Prepare a comprehensive monthly set of management reports, including Sales, Store P&L's, and P&L by channel.
• Ensure the consistency and accuracy of the monthly trial balance.
• Prepare and analyze monthly balance sheet reconciliations, highlighting significant variances and providing insightful commentary.
• Assist in forecasting and managing monthly and annual working capital requirements.
• Conduct margin analysis and provide detailed commentary to support decision-making.
• Support stock management processes, including reconciliation and analysis

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, you will be a finalist ACCA/CIMA studier and ideally will have experience within Retail.
