Interim Management Accountant for a Local Authority in London, paying £450-£550 per day for an initial 3 months with a view to extend.

Description

As the Management Accountant you will be responsible for:

• Management of the general ledger, to ensure accuracy and completeness
• To deliver accurate, consistent, monthly reporting of expenditure and delegated income within agreed timescales
• Challenge and influence monthly forecasts. Link financial information with operational information and outcomes
• To undertake the closing of accounts process for budgets and delegated income budgets, including ensuring the preparation of good quality working papers and supporting documentation.

Profile

Successful candidates will hold a full accounting qualification(CIPFA,CIMA,ACA,ACCA) and have previously worked in a housing department within a local authority. Candidates will need to be available on short notice.

Job Offer

£450-£550 per day, 1-2 days a week on site in London, 3-6 months contract.
