Management Accountant

Reed Accountancy are currently working with an established organisation, located in the heart of Livingston, who are seeking a full-time Management Accountant to join their finance team on an initial temporary basis with the view to go permanent after training. This role would see the successful candidate supporting the company through providing financial analyses and driving change.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts with analysis and commentary
- Developing operational KPI’s to promote change and expand understanding of cost drivers
- Managing the WIP to ensure accurate costing forecasts
- Performing regular balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting in the preparation of forecasts and budgets
- Reviewing ledgers for the purpose of VAT reporting
- Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data
- Resilience and accountability in everyday actions
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
