Management Accountant - Mitchell Adam : Job Details

Mitchell Adam are excited to announce an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant role situated in the Wolverhampton area. Our client is a nationwide distribution business that is looking to expand their current financial team with an experienced Management Accountant. You will need to have previous experience in this role as you will have junior members of staff that will be looking to you for training and guidance. You will also be a genuinely extroverted candidate who enjoys dealing with stakeholders as this will be part of your duties.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic individual who will be able to take initiative when necessary as you will be given the opportunity to implement any process improvement you see necessary. This business will be looking to create a progression path for the successful applicant, showing you can think on your feet will make you stand out amongst the senior team which will aid in your progression.

You will be working closely with the Financial Controller and as part of your duties you will assist them with: financial analysis, reporting and financial operations. This role will also entail; preparing monthly management accounts, cost controlling, capital expenditure and stock control.

What you'll need:

• To be actively progressing through your CIMA or ACCA qualification, the business will support you as you gain that qualified status and offer study support.
• Have advanced Excel skills such as VLookups and Pivot Tables, you will need these for creating and managing reports as well as conducting analysis.
• Previous experience as a Management Accountant as you will need to hit the ground running.
• Be a clear communicator with good presentation skills, you will use these skills in your day to day.
