Management Accountant - Elevation Recruitment Group : Job Details

Elevation Recruitment Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in Hull as they look to recruit a Management Accountant to join their dynamic finance team.

• Prepare and manage weekly and monthly financial tasks
• Collate and report weekly outlook data for forecasted P&L
• Produce daily stock reports and manufacturing KPI data
• Support the Operations Accountant with weekly finance tasks
• Maintain full responsibility for the fixed asset register and capex requests
• Carry out fixed asset verification and register reviews
• Process expense claims in line with company policies
• Prepare month-end reporting packs for financial review
• Upload actuals and forecasts into the Group consolidation system
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and balance sheet control
• Ensure accuracy in departmental budget models and variance analysis
• Assist in the preparation of half-year and full-year Statutory Financial Statements
• Handle VAT returns, P11D submissions, and R&D tax claim data collation
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations

• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or similar (or working towards)
• Experience in a Management Accountant role, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to set objectives and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, working effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• A structured and self-motivated approach, with attention to detail
• Advanced reporting and data analysis skills, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Proficiency in Excel, MS Office, and financial reporting tools (SAP experience is an advantage)
