DDQ Manager - leading Global Investment Manager

Salary to £95,000 plus attractive discretionary bonus and employee benefits

The Opportunity:

• My client is a leading Global Investment Manager with an enviable profile. They are a truly international firm, and this role is at the heart of their global client activities
• With offices within a significant number of leading financial centres across EMEA, US and Asia, my client is a force to be reckoned with
• The structure is one of a "multi-affiliate" organization with a broad range of investment expertise covering a wide range of asset classes, across both public and private markets. The fund strategies are innovative and offer a fascinating amount of complexity and professional development for staff supporting their growth and success, notwithstanding the truly global nature of this role
• My client is looking to hire an experiences DDQ writer to support what they see is a key area of proven success. The firm is seeing a material growth in these requests and an increased level of value being driven from them. It is for this reason that they have a dedicated DDQ function forms part of the wider RFP team

• Supporting a hugely capable and experienced "Head of DDQ", you will be key to ensuring the ongoing development of the DDQ process and play a key role in establishing a "best of breed" function ensuring that clients are highly satisfied with service they receive

Your Experience:

• You will have a strong record of academic achievement, along with completion of some industry specific qualifications such as the Investment Management Certificate (IMC), and/or be studying for the CFA
• It is essential that you have prior RFP / DDQ experience, although for the purpose of clarity this is a pure DDQ role
• A broad Client Services / Investor Relations background would be welcome, where working on DDQs was part of a wider remit. This would evidence your ability to manage and support globally located sales teams along with an appreciation of the full fund sales cycle
• My client is ideally looking for an individual where this opportunity represents progression in their career, rather than a sideways or backward step
• You will be dynamic evidencing lots of energy and drive, along with self-motivation, a can-do attitude, humility, and the ability to manage a wide range of stakeholder relationships at all levels across this global and functionally diverse investment manager
• Genuinely enjoy DDQs and the work that goes into getting them fit for purpose
• Possess excellent communication skills (English), both written and verbal, with the ability to build meaningful working relationships with sales and investment teams
• The ability to remain calm and friendly in a high-volume, multi-cultural environment and to manage competing priorities
