A dynamic bridging finance provider offering tailored financial solutions to our clients is looking for an experienced and visionary Managing Director to lead and drive the business forward.

This position is based in Newcastle, you must be willing to relocate.

Role Overview:

As Managing Director, you will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the business, overseeing day-to-day operations, and leading our team of professionals. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of our lending operations, fostering strong relationships with clients, partners, and investors, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.

Managing Director Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of the company's strategic business plan.
  • Oversee the lending process, ensuring quality service and risk management.
  • Manage the operational performance of the business, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, investors, and stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive growth in the bridging finance market.
  • Ensure full compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing team, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Report to the Board of Directors, providing strategic insights and updates on business performance.

Managing Director Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the financial services or lending industry (preferably bridging finance).
  • Strong track record in managing and growing financial services businesses.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
  • Strong network within the finance, property, and investment sectors.
  • Ability to drive business growth, with a hands-on, results-driven approach.
  • Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
