At Produal we want to give buildings the ability to sense. Our experts develop solutions that measure, adjust and communicate accurate data for the building automation and HVAC industry. Produal is part of Bemsiq Group (Division Building Automation).

About the Role

As the Managing Director UK, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of Produal Group's UK operations. Your mission is to spearhead sales and business development efforts, optimize operational efficiency, and drive market growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Produal UK and further raising its industry profile.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve ambitious business objectives, with a strong emphasis on sales growth and market expansion, focusing on sales to systems integrators, equipment manufacturers and planners.
• Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing UK team to drive success and exceed targets.
• Oversee and sometimes also participate in daily operations to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Identify and capitalize on market opportunities, leveraging industry insights, customer needs, and competitor analysis.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and suppliers.
• Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Represent Produal in the UK operation as a key member of the Produal Group extended management team.
• Collaborate across the Produal Group to access wider resources and support as required to achieve results.

What We’re Looking For

• A proven leader with experience in senior management, preferably within the built environment, building automation, HVAC, or related industries.
• A strong B2B sales background, with a track record of delivering growth and achieving revenue targets.
• Ability to be both strategic and hands-on as required.
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Solid financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and profitability.
• Proficiency in business software and tools to support data-driven decision-making.
• Deep understanding of the UK market and industry trends.

Working Arrangements

Produal UK is based in Kidderminster, Worcestershire. Hybrid working with flexible but regular working in the office. This could, for example, be for 1 week per month, or 2 days per week. Regular travelling within the UK and some amount also to Finland or other European countries.
