Our client, are recruiting for a Manual Turner to join their growing team! They are leaders in their field and offer support to their customers from concept to commissioning.

Manual Turner Roles and Responsibilities:

• Produce parts to tight tolerances, using engineering drawings as guides
• Carry out turning, boring, trepanning, roughing and finishing operations
• Working with Stainless Steel, alloys, brass, copper and plastics
• Working on standard sized manual lathe - we willing to learn to use larger machines such as Binns & Berry and Horizontal Borer

The ideal Manual Turner will:

• Be able to read and work from engineering drawings
• Preferably be a time served apprentice with a couple of years post apprenticeship experience
• Be self-motivated and enthusiastic towards tasks
• Be able to perform turning, boring, trepanning, roughing & finishing operations (training can be provided)

Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30 / Friday: 08:00 - 13:00
