Manufacturing Operative / Assembly Operative - AWD online : Job Details

Manufacturing Operative / Assembly Operative with good knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and regulations, ability to work under pressure and previous experience working in a similar assembler / production role is required for a well-established company based in Heathrow, London.

SALARY: £12.00 per hour + up to £400 per quarter Bonus

LOCATION: Heathrow, London

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, Day Shift

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Manufacturing Operative / Assembly Operativewith good knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and regulations, ability to work under pressure and previous experience working in a similar assembler / production role.

As the Manufacturing Operative / Assembly Operativeyou will beworking on the door production team assembly line and producing products based on specific measurements, calculations, drawings or instructions.

Working as the Manufacturing Operative / Assembly Operative you will have great attention to detail in order to assemble, pack and inspect goods whilst adhering to safety protocols.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Manufacturing Operative / Assembly Operative include:

• Working on the assembly line and producing products based on specific measurements, calculations, drawings or instructions

• Packing boxes, loading and unloading materials and finished goods and adhering to safety protocols

• Inspecting assembled products for any faults or defects

• Reporting incidents, faulty operations, or product imperfections on the assembly line to Management

• Following established safety and efficiency procedures to ensure that operations run smoothly

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Essential

• Previous experience in this type of assembler / production / manufacturing role

• Able to work individually and as part of a team

• Good attention to detail

• Takes pride in your work

• The ability to understand and receive instructions

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• The ability to lift heavy pieces of equipment (within safety guidelines)

• Ability to work on own initiative

• Good knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and regulations

Desirable

• A forklift licence

• A solid understanding of production machinery and proper assembly procedures

• An ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
