In your new role you will be tasked with managing your own portfolio of Marine claims from first notification of loss to conclusion. You'll be working within an established, supportive, team, communicating with producers and agents, and preparing month-end claims reports. Your new role requires assisting in appointing surveyors and adjusters, managing claim documentation, and maintaining effective records. You'll also liaise with various departments to ensure seamless claims reporting and settlement.
This position is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills, self-discipline, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You'll handle raising Credit and Debit Notes, liaise with Finance, and prepare financial settlement reports. Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office packages is important, as is the ability to meet deadlines and streamline claims processing.
