A commodities exchange business is seeking a Market Data Business Developer on a permanent basis. This is a fast paced role supporting the head of Market Data. The Market Data Business Developer will use market data (information about a specific market, including trends, customer behaviour, and competitor analysis) to inform and drive strategic business development decisions. ,

Market Data Business Developer will be required to:

• Provide strategic analysis and recommendations based on market analysis and client feedback
• Identify new market opportunities, target potential customers effectively, and optimize service offerings for maximum growth potential.
• Create impactful reports and presentations to communicate with senior management and external stakeholders
• Identify business opportunities through active market engagement and strategic review of commercial and regulatory developments

Ideal Candidate:

• Knowledge of the regulatory developments affecting commodities and financial markets
• Demonstrable experience of engaging with senior stakeholders at clients to develop industry-supported products and services
• Knowledge of market data and data services is preferred
• Previous Business Development background is preferred
