Job Description :

Our client, a well-established international membership organisation, have a wonderful opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic individual to join them as a Marketing and Administration Assistant within their Training and Events team! This is a great role for someone looking to gain key marketing experience and grow their skillset within a trade association. Due to the nature of this position, it is based on site full time with negotiation of hybrid working after the probation period.

Duties in this role will include:

  • Plan, write and implement marketing activities for all parts of the trade body
  • Posting and monitoring of social media channels, handling email marketing and social media content for events
  • Prepare slides for all internal and external presentations
  • Monitor analytics relating to events, gathering relevant data in line with future events
  • Be a first point of contact for events and training queries, coordinating all marketing activities
  • Other various administration tasks as required

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be highly organised and able to prioritise as needed
  • Have a high level of social media awareness and competence, including LinkedIn and other software, Experience of using DotDigital, Canva and Powtoon is a plus
  • Be comfortable working to deadlines with high attention to detail, excellent multitasking abilities
  • A minimum of 6+ months office-based experience preferable
  • Be competent in using Microsoft Office
