Marketing Assistant

Remote, Loughborough

£12 - £15 p/h

Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Assistant on a remote basis. If you are a recent graduate, or someone looking to continue their career within a nationally recognisable brand - get in touch today!

The role:

  • Copy-writing: Create compelling and engaging copy for various platforms, including social media, websites, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Social Media Management: Develop and schedule content across our social media channels, monitor engagement, and respond to inquiries to build and maintain our online presence.
  • Liaising with External Agencies: Collaborate with external marketing agencies to ensure alignment with our brand strategy and to execute campaigns effectively.
  • Event & Exhibition Management: Coordinate and manage logistics for virtual and in-person events and exhibitions, ensuring all details are handled with precision and professionalism.
  • Content Creation: Assist in creating and curating content that aligns with our brand voice and resonates with our target audience.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track and report on the performance of social media campaigns and events, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Administrative Support: Assist the marketing team with administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling meetings, managing budgets, and maintaining marketing databases.

The candidate:

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a marketing role
  • Skills: Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail. Proficient in social media platforms, content management systems, and event management tools.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to liaise effectively with external partners and internal teams.
  • Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote environment.
  • Creativity: A creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and a strong understanding of how to engage audiences online.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt to changing priorities.
