Leading events company is looking for a well-spoken, articulate, confident individual to join the team as a Marketing Assistant. Based in the centre of Guildford, this is the perfect opportunity to develop and grow your marketing skills.

Job Description: · Working within the marketing team, dealing with all areas of marketing· Using various platforms (such as database, LinkedIn and social media) to connect with suitable people and businesses to invite them to attend global events· Coordinating marketing materials· Using mail-chimp to send and monitor marketing emails· Editing images for online marketing, working with an inhouse designer· Liaising with potential delegates via social media and email

Person Specification:· Relevant degree in marketing would be ideal· Engaging personality, warm and confident· Well spoken, articulate · Enjoys verbal and written communication at all levels · Ideally interested in sustainability, climate change and green subject matters· Confident with different platforms· A hard-working team player

Additional Information: · Based in Guildford· £26,000 - £28,000· Monday - Friday - 9-5.30· Occasionally working on different time zones, so candidates must be flexible around working hours· Genuine career prospects for candidates interesting in marketing, events, sales· 25 days annual holiday plus an extra 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year· Casual office attire· Company events
