Job description

This role offers a great opportunity for someone looking to progress their career with a recognised brand in the business-to-business professional services market.

In this hands-on role you will be creating a range of exciting and engaging communications content - from business updates, people communications and wellbeing programmes to sustainability initiatives, alumni and recruitment content and everything in between.

To succeed in this role, you will already have some experience in communications - ideally within the professional services industry. The role would suit someone who can work to tight deadlines and is delivery focussed.

Responsibilities

  • Assists the development of the internal communications plan and supports delivery of activities related to the plan.
  • Liaises with the external communications team to align internal messages and communications activity.
  • Works closely with the sector and regional marketing and people teams to create and develop content.
  • Effectively manages stakeholder relationships, working with partners, client facing teams and support teams to increase awareness of their activities.
  • Supports management of the firm’s intranet content and ensure it is relevant, up to date and engaging.
  • Collates content for internal newsletter and distributes to the firm.
  • Supports the internal communications team in the creation and design of specialist internal publications and projects.
  • Plans, schedules and creates internal 'lockscreen’ messages, liaising with the Design Executive.
  • Evaluates and shares performance statistics of internal communications and applies any learning to improve performance.
  • Acts as a 'brand guardian’, ensuring consistency and compliance in the development of all internal communications material.
  • Supports the Alumni team to create compelling newsletter and web content.

  • Proactive and enthusiastic.

  • Efficient time management and ability to work to strict deadlines.
  • Ability to manage challenging situations with diplomacy and discretion.
  • Excellent language skills and good communicator at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to obtain and convert technical content into compelling content for internal purposes.
  • Works well in a team and on their own, with an ability to manage and prioritise their own workload.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Use of HTML emailing platforms (preferably Concep Send).
  • Excellent knowledge and application of the full Microsoft office 365 suite.

Qualifications

  • Degree level education or equivalent
  • At least eighteen months’ communications experience
  • Desirable - previous professional services experience.
