Working fully remotely, an excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced marketing professional to join an award-winning global association of accounting and business advisory firms as a Marketing Communications Manager to play an integral role in both building the organisation’s brand and enhancing member experience.

Reporting directly to the Head of Communications, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of communications and marketing plans, as well as campaigns and initiatives, to engage members and bolster the association’s reputation. The Marketing & Communications Manager will lead on all large communications projects, campaigns and initiatives, working across the organisation to coordinate activities for maximum impact and value. Tracking, reporting and managing the delivery of monthly targets, you will develop the monthly communications plan, incorporating member relations, thought leadership, news development and event promotion, and will be tasked with the development of all campaign messages and with creating the framework and plans for all content and collateral. You will work collaboratively with the Digital Officer to manage social media channels including posting schedule, content, tone and messaging. Reaching organic engagement targets, you will lead on digital innovation to ensure the association stays ahead of competitors in the use of digital to deliver the organisational strategy. Duties will include responsibility for video strategy, managing core content on the website to ensure a consistent and compelling narrative, creating and promoting member thought leadership and managing insight pages and resources. The successful applicant will be expected to ensure strong brand recognition across all platforms, and find ways to increase member engagement with content, events, website and social media. Direct member engagement will be central to this role in order to increase registrations among member firms, to bolster member satisfaction scores through effective and impactful communication of the association’s value proposition and to share content and insights to build networks and relationships. Working across all teams within the organisation to ensure impactful member communications programmes are developed and delivered, the role holder will need manage the email marketing strategy ensuring content is of the highest quality and will also manage the onboarding marketing and communication programme for members.The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with proven experience working in a similar role in a global environment, preferably in a member network, association or not-for-profit organisation, to include demonstrable success in leading campaigns promoting international membership programmes, customer experience management and retention and acting as a member engagement champion within the organisation. With an editorial mind-set, excellent copywriting skills and strong narrative skills and experience of sourcing and promoting thought leadership and research, the Marketing Communications Manager will possess a thorough understanding of the overall digital marketing ecosystem, including channel specific best practice, evolving technology and data solutions. In-depth knowledge of LinkedIn and expertise in targeted digital marketing, SEO and web traffic metrics combined with proficiency in CMS and CRM systems will also be essential.
