Job Description :
The role of Marketing in WTW is to support the company's growth and revenue goals and to protect and promote a consistent global brand. This role sits within Risk & Broking, which offers a broad range of risk advisory services, from risk assessment, risk management, risk transfer and placement and claims advocacy. Areas of specialism include property and casualty, aerospace, marine and financial lines.In this position you will be responsible for supporting the coordination and delivery of marketing activities across the Affinity line of business. WTW Affinity is a B2B2C/B2B2B global business which designs and delivers insurance solutions for businesses whose core business is not insurance, with a focus on the following target industry segments: automotive, energy utilities, financial services and mobile network operators.The Role:Marketing Delivery:
  • Key support to the Affinity Marketing Leader for the implementation of the Global Affinity marketing strategy with a particular focus on campaigns, value propositions, thought leadership, digital distribution and internal communications and agreed marketing plans and programmes
  • Coordinate and deliver marketing campaigns and assigned activities and all its elements and tactics within agreed timelines and budgets, working effectively with business stakeholders and marketing colleagues
  • Coordinate and liaise with regional and global marketing colleagues including the CoEs (Communications, Events Management, design, PR, Digital and Research/Analytics) as required to deliver campaigns and programmes
  • Coordinate compliance review and sign-off of marketing materials ensuring they are clear, fair and not misleading
  • Requires collaboration with the related Industry team to ensure global LOB assimilation of industry intelligence and thought leadership. Collaboration may also be required with Global Shared Services where appropriate
  • Support delivery of internal and external events as required, working with Events Management where appropriate to ensure successful execution of these. Effective use of tools including event, and as required On24, Webex to deliver these
  • Maintaining the Affinity intranet to ensure this is kept up-to-date and has the latest content and materials for the global Affinity team and wider business stakeholders to access.
  • Help support and coordinate internal communications to keep the global Affinity team and wider business aware of the latest developments and updates
  • Evaluate marketing campaigns against agreed KPIs and advise / guide to improve future marketing initiatives to help the Affinity business achieve its growth and sales goals
  • Manage the Affinity marketing mailing activity ensuring that mailing lists are accurately built according to their target audience and via co-ordination with relevant LOB administrators, ensure that contact data is up-to-date
  • Actively support and advise stakeholders during project execution and deliver to their needs, with a sense of urgency and accountability
Relationships:
  • Develop good working relationships with the global marketing community to ensure consistency of approach to marketing activities and to share new ideas and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with key individuals within the Affinity, in GB and globally by understanding their business issues and providing proactive advice Business Awareness
  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of the products, services and solutions that the Affinity LOB offers to clients
  • Understand the importance of global connectivity for growth of the global specialisms and collaboration with Industry.
Other:
  • Offer assistance and accept help from colleagues to accomplish marketing activities and priorities
  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of the full range of products, services and solutions that WTW offer to clients as well as the different markets and buyer hubs that exist
  • Operate within WTW agreed policies, procedures and core values, demonstrating a consistent and corporate approach
The Requirements:
  • Marketing experience is essential, ideally gained within a professional service or a B2B environment.
  • Experience in marketing communications across a broad spectrum of offline and online media (e.g. print, direct mail, email marketing)
  • Excellent organisational skills, the ability to juggle a large workload, and prioritize work effectively
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to use own initiative and work unsupervised, whilst recognizing when to escalate issues or ask for help when required
  • Strong team player with good people skills and a proven track record of providing support to other team members and building collaborative relationships
  • Credibility to work with, and to influence, colleagues at all levels within the company
  • Ability to work across geographies
