The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the coordination and delivery of marketing activities for the Insurance Consulting and Technology business, which is part of the Risk and Broking segment of WTW. The role holder will be a key support in the delivery of the marketing plan and therefore an integral coordinator across the team as well as with other functions within marketing & communications.The position focuses on building, coordinating and delivering innovative programs of marketing activity, as well as managing and measuring the effectiveness of all marketing activities. Successful candidates must demonstrate business acumen, relevant marketing experience with core execution, project management, communication and team skills. This role is based in London with a hybrid working style. The Role:
- Support the ICT marketing team in the deliver of agreed marketing plans and programmes
- Coordinate and deliver marketing activities and tactics within agreed timelines and budgets. This includes virtual and in-person activity, as well as virtual activity for EMEA-wide and global campaigns.
- Coordinate and liaise with regional and global marketing colleagues, including in-house and outsourced marketing partners (Communications, Design, PR, Digital, Events and Research/Analytics) as required to deliver campaigns and programmes
- Develop and maintain a good understanding of the full range of services and solutions provided to clients as well as the different markets and buyer hubs that exist
- Maintain awareness of the competitive environment and an understanding of how marketing strategy and plans are positioned within this to help achieve differentiation and/or a strong presence in the market
- Support the ICT marketing team and/or work alongside the event management team on the delivery of client events/sponsorships
- Work with the digital delivery team and other stakeholders on delivery of digital marketing, including website, direct emails podcasts and social media
- Support development of thought leadership working with business stakeholders as well as the editorial team
- Evaluate marketing campaigns against agreed KPIs and advise / guide to improve future marketing initiatives
- Manage marketing mailing activity using Dynamics and Cvent, Marketo or Acoustic (as appropriate), ensuring that mailing lists are accurately built according to their target audience and via co-ordination with relevant stakeholders, ensure that contact data is up-to-date.
- Actively support and advise stakeholders during project execution and deliver to their needs, with a sense of urgency and accountability
- Support and coordinate update of marketing planners and activity schedules
- Help support and coordinate internal communications. This includes the intranet and standalone marketing communications
The Requirements:
- Relevant marketing experience is essential, ideally gained within a professional services or a B2B environment.
- Proven experience in marketing communications across a broad spectrum of traditional and digital marketing (e.g. events, email marketing, social media and website)
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent organisational skills, the ability to juggle a large workload, and prioritise work effectively
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to use own initiative and work unsupervised, whilst recognising when to escalate issues or ask for help
- Strong team player with good people skills and a proven track record of providing support to other team members and building collaborative relationships
- Credibility to work with, and to influence, colleagues at all levels within the company
- Ability to work across geographies
- Work efficiently and effectively under pressure in an environment of continuous improvement.
