The Role:

As a Marketing Executive, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer, and team engagement. Your responsibilities will include managing and evolving marketing materials, social media channels, website, and creating compelling marketing materials for both online and offline platforms. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to support growth initiatives and ensure the success of marketing campaigns. Duties (include but are not limited to):

  • Reviewing, developing and executing the company’s ongoing marketing strategy and brand growth
  • Work with internal teams to support the development of all company marketing activities, including sales, HR / Recruitment and operations
  • Manage marketing activity with external marketing provider and monitor their deliverables
  • Coordinate external marketing agency for additional support where relevant with company marketing activity
  • Support the production of presentations for client meetings and events
  • Coordinate the design and production of marketing materials (both offline and online)
  • Keep marketing materials up to date across the business and easily available to the appropriate personnel in the business
  • Assist with Internal marketing with activities such as internal newsletters, promoting company events, news, benefits, internal branding etc.
  • Manage the company social media pages, growing the target audience, engagement, and responding to enquiries proactively
  • Produce effective, engaging content for social media pages, both topical for the logistics industry, and behind the scenes company activity sharing the stand-out company culture
  • Where relevant produce interesting blogs/industry updates/company news for social media, the company website, and email marketing
  • Ensure company website and all content is optimised for search engines (SEO)
  • Create and monitor progress of ongoing email marketing campaigns, utilizing relevant software / CRM systems
  • Work closely with sales to ensure generated leads are passed on / followed up efficiently
  • Use WordPress CMS to update and make amendments to the Hemisphere Website.

Person Specification:

  • 2 years’+ experience in a marketing role preferred (inhouse or agency)
  • Degree or equivalent within marketing or relevant subject
  • Knowledge / experience of the logistics industry preferred
  • Highly competent with Microsoft tools including MS PowerPoint
  • A creative individual who enjoys producing stand-out engaging content
  • A keen eye for detail with excellent written communication skills
  • Strong organisational and administration skills
  • A dynamic thinker who offers new ideas
  • A keen, hungry, flexible attitude with a passion marketing and willingness to learn the industry
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrate a high level of accuracy, self-motivation, and organisation
  • Attention to detail is a must & taking pride & care in the work you produce
  • Ability to work as part of a team
