Marketing Junior Project Manager
Location: London | Office: Hybrid - minimum 2 days a week in office | Duration: 10-month contract
My client, a global brand in the consumer sector is on the hunt for a Marketing Junior Project Manager for one of their key teams.
Their team is divided into four key pillars: Media, Marketing Transformation, Brand, and Design. Each pillar plays a crucial role in executing their mission to my client a global leader.
This role will primarily support the Brand and the Platform teams.
Brand and PR/Comms Responsibilities
- Be the Brand Community Champion - Set up and oversee the brand community, this includes the creation of global brand directory, Influencer directory, quarterly calls, global SharePoint with useful content, newsletters, market co-ordinations and other ad-hoc requests
- Raise Brand Awareness - Lead peripheral awards submissions, including on-going submissions and scoping various awards that can be entered into to help grow my client's brand in its own right
- PR related activities - Helping further raise awareness of the brand through supporting the team lead in managing PR campaigns with external partners
- Bringing social campaigns to life - Support the marketing team in the execution plan of key campaigns
- Ad-hoc support for team lead - Support on key projects where required.
Platform Roles & Responsibilities
- Day to day management Primary POC for updates and amends across 80+ websites and always-on landing pages across 30+ markets for the category
- Prioritise and fulfil website requests efficiently, work with local teams to align digital content with market needs while ensuring brand consistency and best practices
- Oversee the setup of web and digital sites for low-traffic pages that do not require a standalone website presence and manage the decommissioning of unnecessary .coms
- Design and develop digital experiences and landing pages
- Collaborate with the technical team to support complex digital projects, troubleshoot technical challenges, and ensure all websites meet accessibility standards
Knowledge & Skills Required
- Good proficiency in office suite, especially excel
- Previous exposure to PR campaign briefing
- Able to balance multiple, differing, workstreams across 2 sub teams
