Our Group Marketing department plays a crucial role in supporting all facets of our organisation, driving our mission to offer unparalleled financial services and maintain our position as industry leaders.(Please note Mortgage Advice Bureau is advertising this role on behalf of our subsidary company, Meridian Mortgages)

About the RoleAs the Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in our marketing delivery by building our Marketing strategy from scratch. You will take ownership of planning and executing impactful campaigns that build awareness and create demand through relevant marketing channels. This role will have a strong focus on results by lead nurturing and encompasses all aspects of the marketing mix.

Interested candidates should have demonstratable experience in a mixed Marketing role and be able to demonstrate an ability to work well both collaboratively, independently and with other stakeholders across the business. A high level of attention to detail, a good eye for creative design, along with excellent communication, copywriting & proofreading skills are essential to the day-to-day success of this role.

Responsibilities

• Creating engaging content for use across a wide range of channels including email marketing, digital marketing, blogs, websites, events and social media.
• Plan marketing communication strategies to meet our marketing targets and liaise with all members of the team to ensure effective and efficient cross channel delivery.
• Analyse the results of all marketing activity, including monitoring lead and conversion performance and present findings / recommendations to stakeholders.
• Taking the lead to effectively manage and grow our social media presence effectively and appropriately.
• Supporting on a wide range of external and internal events.
• Developing offline marketing collateral such as leaflets, brochures and promotional items.
• Assisting with the production of artwork, sourcing images and taglines.
• Undertake research projects to make the Meridian Group’s marketing efforts more effective, engaging and visually appealing.
• Taking ownership of internal communications initiatives, keeping colleagues up-to-date and delivering key communications and events in line with dates specified.
• Lead on the delivery of the Meridian Group’s B2B marketing efforts.

About You

• Strong experience in a Marketing role with both online and offline campaign creation and delivery.
• Impeccable written and verbal communications, with the ability to produce high quality copy and proofread for errors.
• A good eye for creative design.
• Social media knowledge and experience.
• Experience of email marketing packages (e.g. Mailchimp)
• Experience in coordinating and running events.
• Experience of working with data and reports.
• Highly organised and great time management.
• Self-motivation with a strong drive for success.
• Interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across different levels of the business.
• Team player and passionate about working collaboratively.

Desirable

• Experience establishing a marketing function from the ground up.
• Financial services experience would be advantageous but is not a pre-requisite.
• Experience of working within a wider group that offers a range of products and services.
• An understanding of wider digital channels and tools.
