The role of Marketing Manager

My client is looking for a Digitally bias, generic all round results-driven Marketing Professional to manage the entire Marketing function to develop, implement, track, and optimise our digital marketing campaigns and outcomes.

You will work closely with the MDs ( really lovely people) and internal teams to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth through innovative digital marketing strategies. The role is incredibly varied and would suit someone who is adaptable, self-motivated and energetic.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to increase brand awareness, drive traffic and generate leads.

Campaign Management: Create, manage, and optimise marketing campaigns across various channels e.g. email marketing, social media, website, print etc.

Content Creation: Work both within and lead the marketing team on producing engaging content for digital newsletters, social media, email campaigns and the website.

Sales Collateral creation: Work with Sales team members on new business and existing account growth opportunities, driving content creation focused on value-add.

Analytics & Reporting: Use analytics tools (e.g., GoogleAnalytics, Dynamics reporting etc.) to track campaign performance, gather online insights, and create regular reports for management.

Email Marketing: Oversee the creation of email marketing

Social Media Management: Oversee social media presence, including strategy, content calendar, and community engagement across LinkedIn and Instagram.

Lead Generation: Develop strategies for generating high-quality leads through digital channels.

Website Management: Ensure that the company’s website is optimised for both user experience and search engines and implement necessary changes and updates.

Budget Management: Track marketing spend, ensuring maximum ROI for campaigns.

Data Management

Internal communications and culture: Drive internal communications and enhance culture and positive employee experience.

Some Events management.

Skills and Experience:

MS Dynamics is essential.

Excellent with people and experience leading a marketing team.

Adaptable and able to manage change well.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proven experience as a Marketing Professional or similar role, preferably in the B2B or eCommerce sector.

Strong understanding of current digital marketing trends, strategies, and best practices.

Experience with social media marketing and strategy - specifically Linked In & Instagram

Demonstrated success in managing and optimising digital campaigns.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling content.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly.

Proficiency in email marketing platform -

Experience with web development tools and content management systems is a plus.

GoogleAnalytics

Basic understanding of Html would be helpful.

Desirable Qualifications:

Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Marketing Strategy Qualifications

Experience of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite

Experience with marketing automation tools and techniques.
