Material Planner - Reed : Job Details

• Evaluate Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to coordinate cost-effective purchasing strategies.
• Ensure all order confirmations are received and processed within the target timeframe.
• Review MRP exceptions to identify and mitigate risks in inbound purchases.
• Communicate price and lead time variations to the Procurement Team.
• Attend and contribute to Demand, Planning, and Marketing meetings to ensure accurate MRP evaluations.
• Handle invoice queries in collaboration with the Finance team and coordinate purchase returns and replacement orders as instructed.
• Support R&D by ensuring adequate lab stock availability for raw materials.
• Maintain effective communication across all teams and contribute to a positive working atmosphere.

• Proven problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
• CIPS qualification or relevant experience in procurement.
• Strong mathematical and Microsoft Office skills.
• Effective communication skills, including a good telephone manner.
• Experience with Sage software is preferable.
• FMCG/Manufacturing experience would be beneficial
