Materials Controller - AVENUE THORN RECRUITMENT SERVICES : Job Details

The Materials Controller is responsible for the availability of materials for production, in line with the schedule of work.

Duties include:

• Managing Stock for Production
• Liaising with the Stores Controller, Production Coordinator and Supply Chain Manager to plan and manage the schedule
• Managing stock location transfers in ERP/MRP system.
• Arranging national and international shipments to sub-contractors and generating shipping paperwork.
• Working with the Stores Controller to maintain accurately recorded stock levels.
• Requesting stock reports from subcontractors and updating stock levels in the ERP/MRP system.
• Monitoring order acknowledgements from suppliers and updating PO delivery dates in the ERP/MRP system.
• Maintaining accurate due dates in the ERP/MRP system for Works Orders, Purchase Orders
