Position: Maths Cover Supervisor

Location: BristolStart Date: After February Half TermSchedule: Full-time (Monday to Friday); Part-time options availableSalary: £120 to £140 per day, depending on experience

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a Maths Cover Supervisor to support dynamic classrooms across schools in Bristol. Whether you're looking to build experience as a non-qualified teacher or you're an experienced professional, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to students' education in a supportive environment.

As a Maths Cover Supervisor, you'll manage classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that students continue to make progress while maintaining a positive and focused classroom atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support Maths lessons during the absence of the regular teacher
• Foster a positive and engaging learning environment
• Provide assistance to students with their work and encourage participation
• Maintain discipline and ensure the classroom remains orderly

Requirements:

• A-Level qualification in Maths or a relevant degree (Teaching or related subjects) OR prior experience working in a secondary school setting
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS check, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks
• Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history
