A reputable educational institution in Derby is seeking two Maths Lecturers to join their team on a temporary basis. The successful candidates will be delivering high-quality GCSE and Functional Skills maths education. This opportunity offers both part-time and full-time hours, catering to your availability.

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in GCSE and Functional Skills maths to a diverse group of students.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments in line with curriculum standards.
• Monitor and evaluate students’ progress, providing feedback and additional support as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
• Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and training sessions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the maths department.

• Proven experience teaching all levels of GCSE Maths.
• A teaching qualification or currently working towards one.
• A DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
• Minimum Level 2 qualification in Maths and English.
