Responsibilities associated with teaching mathematics:
- Plan and deliver engaging, clear, and effective maths lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Evaluate and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Contribute to the design and development of an innovative and comprehensive maths curriculum.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages students to develop a love for mathematics and critical thinking skills.
- Lead and participate in maths-related extracurricular activities, competitions, and clubs.
To get qualified and cleared for this position you must:
- Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) qualification (essential for the role)
- 2 relevant professional references
- Enhanced DBS on the update service
- Right to work in the UK
- Proven success in teaching mathematics at the secondary level.
- A genuine passion for mathematics and a commitment to making the subject exciting and accessible for students.
- Ability to create engaging, creative, and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to education.
