The Role :

Our partnered Secondary School located on the outskirts of Cambridge is seeking a Qualified Maths Teacher to start in November 2024. As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will play a key role in fostering a love for mathematics and helping students achieve their full potential.

Requirements :

• QTS is mandatory.

• Eligibility to work in the UK
• DBS (or the willingness to apply)
• Plan, prepare and teach a range of engaging lessons to enable students with varying abilities to progress through the KS3 & KS4 curriculum
• Be an outstanding and innovative classroom practitioner who can lead and enthuse students
• Reflect a passion for learning and drive ambition for every student in the classroom
• Creative and fresh approaches to teaching as well as being flexible and adaptable

Key Responsibilities :

• Modify lesson plans and teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Create individualised Learning Goals: Develop and implement personalised learning objectives for each student based on their specific needs and abilities.
• Deliver engaging and accessible Maths lessons that cater to varying levels of ability and understanding.
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants and other support staff to ensure that students receive the necessary support during lessons.
• Foster a classroom atmosphere that is welcoming and inclusive for all students.
