Maths Teacher - Tameside - January start We are specifically working with a Good secondary school in Tameside, who are working with ourselves, to recruit for a temporary qualified Maths teacher, teaching key stage 3 & 4 classes from January for 2 terms until they break for summer in July. You will be required to become fully immersed in the department, attend departmental meetings and be available for parents evenings as and when required. As well as deliver lessons that are both engaging and academically appropriate to stretch the students in the classes. The role will be open to newly qualified teachers (ECT) as well as teachers who have more experience. Location Tameside Position Maths Teacher Type of work full time Start date January 2025 Duration 2 terms Contract type Temporary Full time Minimum rate of pay GBP162.31 per day Hours 8:30 am 4pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Degree educated with a good classification (2:2). PGCE in Maths, this could be 14+ or QTS Previous experience working of working with young people (which we can reference). Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided). Up to date prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided). Up to date behaviour management & FGM training in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided).
