Key Responsibilities:

As a Maths Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and inspiring Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the needs of all students, fostering a love for Maths and encouraging progress.
• Assess, monitor, and report on students' progress, providing constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported and challenged.
• Support the school’s ethos and values, promoting a culture of respect, responsibility, and resilience.
• Actively participate in departmental meetings, contributing to curriculum planning and resource development.
• Establish strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, maintaining effective communication to support student success.
• Take part in school events, extracurricular activities, and wider school life.

Expectations:

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Maths or a related subject.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the national curriculum for Mathematics.
• Have a proven track record of delivering successful Maths lessons, with evidence of student progress and achievement.
• Be adaptable, enthusiastic, and committed to professional growth.
• Possess excellent classroom management skills, creating a focused and productive learning environment.
• Be proactive in using innovative teaching methods and strategies to engage students.
• Be dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
