Job Title: GCSE & Functional Skills Maths Teacher (SEN)

Location: Headingley, Leeds

Job Type: Part-Time (2 days per week)

Salary: £12,737 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective maths lessons tailored to the needs of SEN students.
• Develop and implement a curriculum that meets educational standards and caters to the diverse needs of students.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for mathematics.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student learning and development.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in SEN education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Teaching certification.
• Proven experience teaching mathematics, preferably with SEN students.
• Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and effective teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional growth and development.
