About the Role:

As an SEN Maths Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment where every student can reach their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering differentiated Maths lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with a range of learning profiles, including those with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH).
  • Implementing creative and engaging teaching strategies that cater to different learning styles and keep students motivated.
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with students, fostering their self-esteem and confidence in their mathematical abilities.
  • Collaborating effectively with our dedicated SEN team, including support staff, therapists, and parents/guardians, to provide a holistic approach to student wellbeing and academic success.

About You:

  • You are a qualified teacher holding QTS or equivalent, with a passion for teaching Maths
  • You possess a deep understanding of the challenges faced by SEN students and have experience implementing effective strategies to support their emotional and academic growth.
  • You are resilient, patient, and empathetic, with excellent communication and classroom management skills.
