Mechanic - Reed : Job Details

Vehicle Mechanic 

Leicester, UK

Pay Rate: £18 p/h

8-5pm Mon – Fri

Role Purpose: Diagnose, service, and repair commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

· Inspect and test vehicle status.

· Strip, replace, and repair units per work instructions.

· Assess components for fitness.

· Build and test products as per manufacturer instructions.

· Report faults to the Workshop Supervisor.

General Requirements:

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Flexibility to work outside core hours occasionally.

· Travel to other Exsel sites and overseas as needed.

· Must meet UK government security vetting criteria.

Health & Safety:

· Adhere to health and safety procedures.

· Use appropriate PPE.

· Maintain a clean and safe work area.

· Report any health and safety issues promptly.

Competencies & Skills:

· Valid driving licence.

· Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics.
