Mechanical Design Engineer - April Recruitment Ltd : Job Details

We are working with a reputable company based in Huntingdon who require a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer. The position is a permanent role paying up to £30k + Benefits.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm (40 Hours per week).

Key Reponsibilities:

• Efficiently use SolidWorks and CAD software to create mechanical designs

• Conduct site surveys

• Develop conceptual drawings for clients

• Create 3D CAD models and specifications to be sent to manufacturers

• Communicate with manufacturers to resolve any production related queries and issues

Key Requirements:

• Must have a Degree in Mechanical Design, Mechanical Engineering Product Design Engineering or similar

• Strong mechanical knowledge is essential

• Must be Proficient in SolidWorks, CAD, Sheet Metal and Weldments

• Must have excellent problem solving skills with the ability to resolve complex issues

• Excellent communication skills and adaptability are essential
