Mechanical Design Engineer - Murray McIntosh Recruitment Consultancy : Job Details

Murray McIntosh are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to work on a contract basis as detailed below:

Previous experience required:

• Able to produce solid models, designs & drawings of mechanical components and systems
• Structural load bearing design experience
• Plastic injection moulding design experience (essential)
• Strong material knowledge
• Experience of designing intricate mechanisms, rotary gears & gearboxes, linear translation & bearings etc
• Experience of designing special purpose machinery, robots, or automated equipment
• Solidworks CAD experience
• Experience of micro machining or micro moulding (desired).
• Experience of working in a regulated industry such as medical, aerospace or automotive is advantageous
