Mechanical Design Engineer - 4-Day Work Week - up to £45,000

Are you a talented Design Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to work on diverse and innovative projects? Revorec is recruiting for a Design Engineer role within a leading engineering team specializing in design, fabrication, and project delivery of mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum solutions.

This role offers a complete project lifecycle experience, from concept design to installation, covering fabrication, machining, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical work.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Design Engineer to join the Access Department, supporting a growing client base and handling a wide range of projects. You will be involved in various tasks, from producing sales drawings to working collaboratively with project teams to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

• Create sales drawings, technical specs, and client proposals.
• Conduct design calculations and simulations.
• Update technical documents and support QA processes.
• Manage tasks to meet project deadlines and budgets.
• Participate in project teams and oversee commissioning.

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD and mechanical design principles.
• Experience in structural dynamics, bespoke machinery, or fabrication.
• Background in mechanical handling, hydraulics, or similar industries.

Details

• Hours: Full-time, 4-day work week (Mon-Thurs, 38 hours).
• Location: Engineering facility near Bridgnorth and Telford.
• Benefits: 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays), with up to 5 additional days based on service.
